Research on Design Strategy for Digital Display of Bamboo Culture from the Perspective of Immersive Experience

【Objective】 This study aims to explore the application of digital means in the dissemination and development of bamboo culture to cater to the modern audience’s pursuit of an immersive exhibition experience. 【Method】 Utilizing the methods of literature review，comparative analysis，and case study，this research subdivides the design for immersive experiences in digital exhibitions into three dimensions：the audience，information，and space，with an investigation on how rich display effects can be achieved through high-level immersion，strong interaction and multi-sensory engagement. The paper proposes a set of strategies and technical pathways for the digital display of bamboo culture，which has been applied in the project of digitalized display renewal of Zhuyun Hall at Zhejiang A&F University，where the potential of digital immersion has been well verified. 【Result】 Based on the audience’s needs for sensory，cognitive，and emotional immersion，as well as the three categories of bamboo culture display（scene，information，and skill），this paper introduces digital display design strategies such as spatial immersion，media integration immersion，and participatory immersion. 【Conclusion】 This study not only provides a technical solution for the innovative display of bamboo culture，but also offers significant reference and inspiration for the innovative exploration of digitalized display design for traditional cultures.
