The Importance of Establishing the Storage Mechanism of Bamboo Chips for Papermaking

摘要: 竹类植物纤维含量高、纤维质量优良,资源丰富,是理想的造纸原料之一。竹材制备纸浆技术日趋成熟,已经规模化生产,是我国造纸行业一支新生力量。竹材生长有特定周期,须适龄采伐;采伐有季节性,应避开雨季、农忙季节;竹片应当有存放期、稳定期;规格竹片供应造纸厂应连续、定量。所以,建立纸浆用竹原料的仓储机制,是健全竹浆造纸产业链过程中的重要环节、关键环节,只有建立强大的仓储链,才能保障原料有序供应、农民保富增收,为当地经济发展提供新的市场空间与成长杠杆。仓储机制的运行对于充分发挥当地竹资源优势,融合一、二、三产业发展有重要战略意义。Abstract: Being abundant in nature,bamboo plants boast high fiber content and superior fiber quality,making them one of the ideal raw materials for papermaking. The technology of preparing paper pulp from bamboo has become sophisticated,and large-scale production has been realized,which represents an emerging sector of papermaking industry in China. Bamboo has specific growth periods and must be harvested at appropriate ages. Bamboo harvesting is a seasonal practice,and rainy seasons and busy farming seasons shall be avoided. Bamboo chips have a storage period and a stabilization period. The supply of standard bamboo chips to paper factories ought to be continuous and quantifiable. Therefore,establishing a storage mechanism of semi-finished bamboo products for pulp making is essential to improving the industrial chain of bamboo papermaking. Only by establishing a robust warehousing chain can we ensure the orderly supply of raw materials,enhance farmers' income,and provide new market space and growth levers for local economic development. The operation of warehousing mechanism is of considerable strategic significance for unleashing the full potential of local bamboo resources and integrating the development of primary,secondary and tertiary industries.
