Cultural Characteristics of Jiading Bamboo Carving

摘要: 嘉定竹刻以其历史悠久、工艺精湛闻名于世,其起于明代正德年间,兴盛于清代康雍乾时期,没落于清代晚期,新中国后入选国家非物质文化名录。该文主要介绍嘉定竹刻工艺的历史沿革、工艺流程和文化价值等,并对今后嘉定竹刻的发展提出一些建议,以期助力嘉定竹刻工艺新发展。Abstract: Jiading bamboo carving is famous for its long historyand exquisite craftsmanship. It originated in Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty,flourished in Kangxi,Yongzheng,andQianlong periods of Qing Dynasty,declined in late Qing Dynasty,and was selected into the national intangible culture list in contemporary China. This paper mainly introduced the historical evolution,technological process and cultural value of Jiading bamboo carving technology,and gave some suggestions for the continuation of Jiading bamboo carving in the future so as to promote iits the new development.
