Genome Survey of Phyllostachys violascens ‘Prevernalis’ Based on High-thoughput Squencing

  • Based on high-throughput sequencing,the genome of Phyllostachys violascens ‘Prevernalis’ was analyzed by Illumina sequencing platform,in order to study its genomic information. The K-mer method was used to predict its genomic characteristics, such as genome size, heterozygosity and repetitive sequence. The results showed that the size of Phyllostachys violascens ‘Prevernalis’ genome was about 1 913 mb, the revised size was 1 897 mb, the heterozygosity rate was 1.7%, and the proportion of repetitive sequence was 69.38%.
